Clean water is often taken for granted, but with over 770 million people lacking access to clean drinking water globally, clean water isn’t a reality for all. A lack of clean water contributes to many challenges in a community – from increased risk of water-borne illness to the burden of managing household water needs, which often precludes women and girls from attending school or earning income for their families.
“We’re excited to reach the 20-billion-liter milestone in our Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program journey,” said Marc Pritchard, Chief Brand Officer, P&G. “Through our long-standing partnerships with organizations such as Save the Children and many others, together we’re helping transform the lives of communities and families around the world through the power of clean water.”
